Has technology played a role in your grieving process?
I’m a researcher studying how people use technology while grieving and remembering loved ones. I’m especially interested in the small, everyday ways people stay connected digitally after someone has passed.
For example, things like:
- posting or revisiting memories on social media
- sending texts or messages to someone who’s gone
- attending online funerals or memorials
- even using AI/chatbots or other tools to “talk” to them
If you’ve done any of this and would be open to sharing your experience, I’d really appreciate hearing from you.
This would be a one-on-one interview (45–60 min), and you can choose video, phone, or even text/chat if that’s more comfortable. You can skip anything or stop at any time.
I know this can be a sensitive topic, so no pressure at all—just putting the invitation out there.
